Visit: Good Samaritan Home, Klang

I went to this orphanage yesterday at Klang with one of my friend, we took half an hour to find the location because of the wrong info given by the website which we cannot search it in our GPS. Anyhow we manage to arrive there just half an hour late (the interview is supposed to be at 3pm but we reached at 3pm) but this makes me feel very panic because the person in charge Mrs Ong is going to leave the home at 4pm.
This is the living room, the first view that I saw when I enter the home. The lighting is warm and the air inside is cool (there are air-conditioners and fans)
Then, we waited for Mrs Ong to come down from upstairs for around 5 mins.
I was no experience in asking questions and I forgot to introduce myself and my topic! Luckily my friend helped and we manage to ask her to fill in the survey form.
When I asked her about whether her centre is raising any problems in raising fund and she told me that most of the Chinese and Indians social welfare centres in Malaysia are facing problems in raising all the times except for the Muslim Homes because they are government-funded.
After that she took us to look around the space.
This is the cupboard for the boys to put their clothes, and right beside it is the bookshelves. (First Floor) It looks messy but they are actually planning to move to a bigger and better centre in two years time.

The dry kitchen area. (messy but well-equipped)
There is crack on the corner of the counter (dry kitchen) which is quite dangerous for the children especially when they are running here and there.
The wet kitchen area (extended area) with 2 high quality and new branded fridges and microwave oven!
The car porch area where they put their boxes, tables, motorcycle and some old stuffs there.

They actually have their own van (total 3 vans)to fetch the children to school everyday.
Facility - swings (well maintained)
and they have their own mini rabbit farm too!
Total number of children: 40+ (Indians & Chinese)
Total numbers of workers: 8
Problems facing: Public came to take photograph of the children and post the photos everywhere to earn money
